Dog & Puppy Training
Hi, I’d like to introduce myself, my name is Tracey and I have been training dogs on and off for 20+ years with my initial experience coming from competitive conformation shows.
I became certified in early 2000 through Western Canada Master Trainer’s Program, held through Birch Valley Kennels and Training Academy in BC under Foyd Jacobson.
I am a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Dog Trainers (CAPDT).
My training method has always been from the stand point of Positive Reinforcement, reward driven, to include, diagnosing and resolving behavioral issues, service and target training, Schutzhund or now known as IGP (Internationale Gebrauchshund Pruefung) translated (Working Dog Test) is used in policing, protection and obedience.
Working with dogs has always been a passion of mine and my approach has always come from a place of patience, kindness, praise, understanding and consideration for the needs of both handler and canine.
